Capital Vacuum opened it’s first store on the 200
block of Hillsborough St. in Raleigh. Later it was moved
to the 500 block, and was there for over 25 years.
As the area grew, there was a need for an additional location to serve the needs of a growing community. A store was opened in Cary in 1978.
Also, another new store was opened in North Raleigh
in 1985. The store on Hillsborough St. was moved shortly thereafter to another downtown location, and was later consolidated into the other store locations.
Both showrooms have been completely remodeled...the North Raleigh and Cary stores are clean and modern floor care stores - great places where you’ll enjoy shopping, and they are conveniently located too.
